1. general provisions

  1. This Website privacy policy is for informational purposes only, which means that it does not create any obligations for Service Recipients or Customers of Rnew ITAD.
  2. The Administrator of the personal data collected through the Website is Rnew sp. z o.o., hereinafter referred to as the “Administrator” and which is both the Website Service Provider and ITAD Service Provider.
  3. The personal data of the Customer and the Client are processed in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act of August 29, 1997. (Journal of Laws 1997 No. 133, item 883 as amended) (hereinafter referred to as the Personal Data Protection Act) and the Act on Providing Electronic Services of July 18, 2002. (Journal of Laws 2002 No. 144, item 1204 as amended).
  4. The controller shall exercise special care to protect the interests of data subjects, and in particular shall ensure that the data it collects are processed lawfully; collected for specified, legitimate purposes and not subjected to further processing incompatible with those purposes; substantively correct and adequate in relation to the purposes for which they are processed; and stored in a form that allows the identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary to achieve the purpose of the processing.

2. purpose and scope of data collection and recipients of data

  1. In each case, the purpose, scope and recipients of the data processed by the Administrator result from the actions taken by the Customer or Client on the Website.
  2. Possible purposes for the collection of personal data of Service Recipients or Clients by the Administrator:
    1. The conclusion and implementation of the ITAD Statement of Services Agreement;
    2. Direct marketing of the Administrator’s own products or services.
  3. The Administrator may process the following personal data of Service Recipients or Customers using the Website: first and last name; e-mail address.
  4. Provision of personal data referred to in the paragraph above may be necessary to initiate discussions related to the possibility of providing Services to the Customer.

3 Cookies and usage data

  1. Cookies are small text information in the form of text files, sent by the server and stored on the side of the person visiting the
    Website (e.g. on the hard drive of a computer, laptop, or on the memory card of a smartphone – depending on the device used by the visitor to our Website).   2. The Administrator may process data contained in cookies when visitors use the Website for the following purposes:
    1. Remembering data from completed Contact Forms or surveys;
    2. To customize the content of the Internet Store’s website to the individual preferences of the Customer (e.g. regarding colors, font size, page layout) and to optimize the use of the pages of the Website;
    3. keeping anonymous statistics showing how the Website is used.
  3. By default, most web browsers on the market accept the storage of Cookies by default. Everyone has the ability to determine the conditions for the use of Cookies through the settings of their own web browser. This means that you can, for example, partially restrict (e.g. temporarily) or completely disable the ability to save Cookies – in the latter case, however, this may affect some of the functionality of the Website.
  4. Your browser settings regarding Cookies are relevant to your consent to the use of Cookies by our Website – in accordance with the regulations, such consent can also be expressed through your browser settings.   6. The Administrator also processes anonymized usage data related to the use of the Website (so-called logs – IP address, domain) to generate statistics to help administer the Website. These data are aggregate and anonymous, i.e. they do not contain identifying characteristics of visitors to the Website. The logs are not disclosed to third parties.

4 Basis for processing

  1. Provision of personal data by the Customer or Client is voluntary, although failure to provide the personal data indicated on the Website necessary to complete the contact form will result in the impossibility of making contact.
  2. The basis for the processing of personal data of the Service Recipient or Client is his or her willingness to contact a person representing the Administrator. In the case of data processing for direct marketing of the Administrator’s own products or services, the basis for such processing is (1) the prior consent of the Customer or Client.

5. the right to control, access and correct the content of your data

  1. The Customer or Client has the right to access and correct the content of his/her personal data.
  2. Every person has the right to control the processing of data concerning him or her, contained in the Administrator’s data file, and in particular the right to: demand that the personal data be supplemented, updated, rectified, temporarily or permanently suspended or deleted, if they are incomplete, outdated, untrue or have been collected in violation of the law, or are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected.
  3. If the Service Recipient or Client has given consent to the processing of data for direct marketing of the Administrator’s own products or services, the consent may be revoked at any time.
  4. If the Administrator intends to process or processes the data of a Customer or Client for the purpose of direct marketing of the Administrator’s own products or services, the data subject shall also be entitled to (1) submit a written, reasoned request to stop the processing of his/her data due to his/her particular situation or (2) object to the processing of his/her data.
  5. In order to exercise the rights referred to above, you may contact the Administrator by sending an appropriate message in writing or by e-mail to the Administrator’s address indicated at the beginning of this privacy policy or by e-mail rodo@rnew.pl.

6. Google analytics, Optimizely and HotJar web analytics

  1. The administrator uses Google Analytics services provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA), the HotJar services provided by Hotjar Ltd (Malta), and the Optimizely services provided by Optimizely Inc. (631 Howard Street, Suite 100, San Francisco, CA 94105). These services help the Administrator analyze the use of the Website.
  2. Google Analytics, HotJar and Optimizely use cookies to analyze the use of the Online Store. Cookies are small text information in the form of text files, sent by a server and stored on the side of the person using the Online Store (e.g. on the hard drive of a computer, laptop, or smartphone memory card – depending on the device used by the person using the Website).
  3. The information obtained by cookies is stored on servers used by Google Inc, HotJar Ltd and Optimizely Inc, including in the United States. If IP address anonymization is activated when using the Website, the IP address will be truncated still in member states of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to the United States and shortened there.
  4. On behalf of the Administrator, Google Inc., HotJar Ltd I Optimizely Inc. will use this information to evaluate your use of the Website, create reports on website traffic and provide other services related to the use of the Website.
  5. The data collected is processed in the above services in an anonymized manner (this is so-called exploitation data, which prevents identification of the person). The data are aggregate and anonymous, i.e. do not contain identifying characteristics of persons using the Website.
  6. By default, most web browsers and devices available on the market accept the storage of cookies. Everyone has the ability to determine the conditions of use of Cookies through the settings of their own web browser or their own device.   8. HotJar can record mouse clicks, mouse movements, scrolling activity and information entered that is not personal information.
  9. 7 Final provisions

  1. The Website may contain links to other websites. The Administrator urges that when you go to other sites, you should read the privacy policy established there. This privacy policy applies only to this Website.
  2. The Administrator shall apply technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of the processed personal data appropriate to the risks and categories of protected data, and in particular shall protect the data from being disclosed to unauthorized persons, from being taken by an unauthorized person, from being processed in violation of applicable regulations, and from being altered, lost, damaged or destroyed.
  3. The Administrator shall adequately provide the following technical measures to prevent unauthorized persons from obtaining and modifying personal data sent electronically:
