FAQ

ITAD or IT Asset Disposal is the process of managing the retirement of IT equipment from a company in a safe, responsible and environmentally sound manner. ITAD services include a range of activities, such as secure data disposal, equipment recycling and value recovery, in accordance with electronics disposal regulations. ITAD’s goal is to maximize the return on investment in IT equipment by recovering value from equipment no longer needed, and to minimize environmental impact and ensure data security.

The choice between equipment repurchases, Revenue Share sales and employee sales depends on several factors such as the company’s goals, the value and quantity of its IT assets and its management preferences.

If the priority for the company is time and minimizing effort, equipment repurchase is the best option. Revenue Share involves potentially higher profits, but may take longer and involves risk sharing. Employee sales, on the other hand, are the best way to get additional employee branding benefits.

A first, indicative valuation is made on the basis of basic information, and an accurate valuation is made after a technical audit conducted at our company.

The accuracy of the quote depends on the detail and accuracy of the data provided by the customer. If necessary, we are ready to conduct a site visit, which can significantly speed up and increase the accuracy of the initial valuation.

If we do not reach an agreement, we are ready to return the equipment in unaltered condition, with the customer paying the cost of the audit and us providing the audit results.

We are interested in any quantity of equipment, although projects involving less than 10 pieces are considered on a case-by-case basis. For large quantities, such as 10,000. pieces, audit time may be extended depending on current projects.

Yes, initial pricing is based on available information. If details are not available, we can help you determine what is needed, and photos of the equipment or local inspections can be helpful.
